Windows 7 Compatibility Center Launched to Help You Address Compatibility Issue You May Have
Windows 7 is designed to be compatible with the most popular hardware and software products you use every day. Majority of these will just work. However, for the stuff that still doesn’t, Microsoft has launched a new Windows 7 Compatibility Center that will get you covered with the many resources.
It’s a great resource addition to existing Upgrade Advisor, built-in Compatibility Mode, or even XP mode, and will definitely help many end users to move to the 7, whether it’s before or after they install the Windows 7.
In the home page of the Compatibility Center, you can find drivers, updates, and downloads, you can go to the real Windows 7 Compatibility Center looking for the products that have earned that certified logo, and you can even visit a collection of guides that help you with your own compatibility problems.
In actual Windows 7 Compatibility Center, you can either search or browse through many products under different categories in two main areas, Software and Hardware. And there are tons of products that have already passed tests and have earned the logo listed there. Of course it doesn’t have everything included but I am sure that the list will get bigger and bigger as many of the vendors understand the important getting their products certified.
